Overview
This is our signature tour which consist of 4-5 hours of an amazing drive to the east side of the island where you can enjoy, the first stop is at the animal park where you will be able to take pictures holding the animals, a local guide will help you during the visit. Once finished the tour continue with a beautiful drive all the way to the local town of Punta Gorda (Fat Point) home to the native tribe of the Garifunas who were slaves by the Spanish, they escaped from slavery and settled here on the island since April 12th of 1797, after the short visit you will be taken to the town of Oak Ridge, know has the Venice of Roatan, from where you would take a ride in one of the water taxi which will take you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the local communities and the mangrove tunnels which last from 45-60 minutes returning to the water taxi dock.
Note: This tour takes a few hours so it’s required one hour from the ships docking to start your adventure your driver will be eager waiting for you over the hilltop at Mahogany Bay(Carnival, Princess Cruise Lines) or if you arrive at Port of Roatan in Coxen Hole(NCL, Royal Caribbean) you would walk out gate number one.
